At your first appointment<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Your first appointment will be a consultation, where we will review your dental and medical history, your treatment and sedation options, and address any questions or concerns you may have. If we need additional x-rays, we will take them at this time. We will then schedule the appointment for your oral surgery procedure.<\/p>\n\n

  • All patients under the age of 18 will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.<\/strong><\/li>\n \t
  • A preoperative consultation and physical examination is mandatory for patients undergoing IV anesthesia for surgery. Please have nothing to eat or drink eight hours prior to your surgery. You will also need an adult to drive you home.<\/li>\n \t
  • Please alert the office if you have a medical condition that may be of concern prior to surgery (i.e., diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves and joints, rheumatic fever, etc.) or if you are currently taking any medication (i.e., heart medications, aspirin, anticoagulant therapy, etc.).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

      If your dentist or physician has taken x-rays you may request that they forward them to our office. If there is not enough time, please pick them up and bring them to our office.       Yes, another adult can accompany you, but for patients under 18, a parent or legal guardian must be present.
